you can read the official post herehttp://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/content.jsp?page=Jedi%20Archives%20Volume%202but basically since we are all un jedi this is what it says:you will complete quests to get your second slot. your second slot is a BRAND NEW player. in other words a novice artisan/etc. you can then choose if you wanna have 2 jedi, 1, or just 2 regs. you have to train your FS-ness before you can be a padawan, and when you're a padawan its just like the current jedi. Somewhere along the line you must complete the jedi trials. as for PvP there is a rank system where all the jedi in your faction are settled by rank, and the more (imps in our case) you kill, the higher your rank becomes. you'll also be forced overt on some occassions. there are also hidden jedi temples where the jedi of a faction can gather and determine who is the leader of their jedi council. in the light side, the leader is voted upon and on the dark side they duel each other for the throne. basically it will be much cooler than hologrinding. the only thing im not clear about is the 2nd slot but im pretty sure i got it right so people who are idiots like dai can have 2 regular characters.
I didnt understand the 2nd slot at all either. The way I understand it, it's kind of like what Bob said. All I know is, that all old lightsaber will be useless...and all the components. Making my three twin force crystal clusters worthless...
I told you before bob that I would be going for Jedi once they implemented the new system ya foo!Actually though, once you reach Padawan you'll be an overt for your faction 24/7, and show up on the bounty hunter terminals.

my guess is the hologrinders get jedi points to start off with for their FS skill boxes. anyway the overt thing is kind of confusing but well thats why you're getting two characters eh? anyway the point of the overtness is so that jedi fight each other more often. unfortunately more often than not it will be a CM jumping a jedi. also the coolest part is the robe. the robe is supposed to have defensive attributes as armor, but as we know armor looks awful and now jedi will fight in STYLE!about pearls and crystals, i dont think they will be 100 pct useless, a jedi will be able to re-tune the component's attributes. the damage and speed just wont be the same as the old form.BTW the PERMANENT OVERTNESS only occurs when you complete the JEDI KNIGHT TRIALS so by then you wont be a pushover.
I agree...jedi in composite was just...awful. And Bob...the only way to get crystals to cross over, is if they are already in a saber, and the jedi has to break it down, and, re-tune it. If they're not in anything...they become worthless.
People no longer ask, "I wonder what type of armor that guy is wearing." It's become, "I wonder what the stats on that guy's composite armor are."Sad....
dude bone armor for 3k a suit made you UPPER CLASS! mabari made you a swooper-sympathizer. chitin made you a show off. ubese made you look silly. padded you were a god. composite and you were master of everything. but now everyone is composited and cm rifleman own the skies with an iron fist.
