Yea, I guess hackers are better than 1-2 programs, but if an admin is on you can just ban them and it's no real big deal. Hackers shouldn't be a reason people don't play a game.

ya thats real fun for the admin of the server isnt it? for him to focus on not playing the game but keeping an eye on everyone to make sure they arent hacking - then to get the IP and ban him from the server just to find out he has DSL and will reboot his modem and come back with a new IP....no thanksAtari 2600 > Valve

Very true. Why just the other day I was playing noughts and crosses with a 'friend' and just when I was about to win he used a head shot hack, killing me instantly.Obviously I got better, but whenever I look at the # symbol on my office phone I get such terrible headaches...

Just beat HL2. God that game is the best video game I've played in a long, long time. Beats Doom 3 by far. Beats Halo 2 and Doom 3 put together! The game is simply amazing, and the story is really badass. As for the ending...lets just say theres likely to be a HL3.

You know as much fun as it is to hack, it's not fun to get kicked out of a server, and then try and cheat your way back in, just to get kicked in 5 minutes. i think its a gay shit that you need internet to register for it and play it.....its just lame,cause many people that have no internet love singleplayer games like hlÂ²,but they cant play it.
