Despite the gnomes, WoW is a very impressive mmorpg. Your hearing this from someone whos tried a lot of mmorpgs too...SWG, CoH, Lineage 2, FFXI, Planet-side, and I'm sure theres other's I've beta tested and just can't think of right now.WoW has a system where theres a LOT of content BUT you can still grind the old fashion way and make xp well by both. In WoW, you can casually play it and still level decently, due to how quests work and how theres a "resting" system, which basically means you get a 2x xp bonus if your rested, and you get rested by logging off in Inn's. (Go on vacation for a week and you can get 2x xp for 1.5 levels...thats a lot when your like level 30+) But anyways, the gameplay is pretty dang neat too, and theres a lot of crap you can do. Luckily you can choose to PvP or PvE on the PvP servers (you actually aren't FORCED to PvP in all areas, only a few) so basically if a Horde comes into your shit, you have a tef on him (think of yourself covert and hes an overt, but he just killed someone in your group and you have a tef on him.) so he cannot attack you untill you attack him.As far as WoW's gameplay overall, I'd rate it an 9.2, and I would rate SWG a 7.7, and CoH a 6.5.I never was in WoW's beta, I use to joke this game hardcore when it was in development with my friend, saying it would never be a good game and how all warcraft games suck...and how its too overrated. I feel stupid cause me and him were laughing about that the other day, and how much irony came out of what we use to say. WoW has impressed me so far, and still is impressive. I already have 4 days of gameplay time on it, and its been out for what...a week? lol. good fight. The game has obviously improved since the first day atleast - there is no more lag. (can't blame them for having 250k+ purchases and thinking about how many people were trying to play the damned thing)So Dai ...you DIE you DIE in HELLLL ARRRHHHG!!! Although I certainly agree, Gnomes are this game's weakness. They look so fucking gay that I think of you each time I see one!

WoW is... well..... crap, but im a Brit and we cant even play it over here (wonder if that has something to do with why i hate it.... nah)

but meh im sticking with SWG

p.s. planetside is a MMOFPS not an MMORPG

GameSpot sucks. I used to get their newsletter but it was full of so much crap and dynamic opinions... Ew 2 gamespot.

I almost always wait to play a game first before I judge it, but ANY game that has 3 inch tall GNOMES running around is not even worth trying.Dai, I get the feeling that you'll be getting WoW sometime in the future, just like alot of people.Probably including myself.

I played the open beta and didn't like it. To kiddy like for me. I'll be sticking with L2.
