EA is fine with me as long as they don't mess with the old school gaming companies such as Capcom and Konami. I would hate to see even some of their companies bought by EA. EA is just doing what any money hungry company would do. Buy up all your competition and be on top of the industry.Only one problem with them buying up all the competitors. There will be no need to produce a high quality game because there will be no compitition to raise the bar. You wont see any improvement in Madden this up coming year because they have no reason to improve on last years, no compition. The could make the same exact game and people will buy it because they have to there is no other option.

What people are forgetting is, EA can't afford to buy up all of the game developers.Ubi Soft are also going to be taking action against EA if they continue their obviously hostile takeover; they're even looking to sell more shares to another company so EA can't buy them out.Eidos are also supposed to be getting bought by News Corp this week too, Murdoch is going on a rampage.
EidosEidos hasn't got any good products out anyways - they could be bought by ACME for all I care :)Tomb Raider - Hitman = only good things that came from Eidos.
