I'll post what I did in the other thread about this.Saw it tonight, dueled a few guys with my lightsaber. Kinda pwned some kid by tripping him with my blade, and he fell smack down on the ground. I then said "Err...sorry...you pulled an anakin." (Of course, this was after the movie!)

I liked it... more than the first two anyway. The fight scenes and effects were spectacular as expected, some of the acting was cheese-worthy though. Like that little punk jedi kid speaking to Anakin at the Jedi Temple, what the hell was that about?![spoiler:4f2bdf1dc5]The end 15 minutes seemed a little rushed as well, switching from clip to clip trying to complete the continuity checklist so everything is set for episode 4. I also thought Anakin turned to the dark side too easily... thought there was gonna be a massive buildup to it but he ends up looking like a wimpy dumbass. Finally Samuel L Jackon, as cool as he is in everything he does, just doesn't seem to fit into the Star Wars world.[/spoiler:4f2bdf1dc5]Oh yeah, some douche sat down in front of me wearing a top hat. I was about to throw down, but he took it off... to reveal the worlds largest head. My mate started laughing at this but soon shut his mouth when melon-heads girlfriend sat down with her out of control hair. Looked something like this:Har har. And I really don't get why people applaud and cheer during these movies. We don't get that much over here but I went to a large cinema in London and everyone was going nuts. Why?! It's not like theatre where you are showing you're appreciation to a live cast, they can't hear you! It takes something away from watching the movie and more to the point it pisses me off. RaR.

i agree with part of snape's spoiler blurb[spoiler:36290ee4a2]i dont think he would have killed the "younglings" at that point, i didnt buy that he was evil enough. when he cut off mace's hand he was like "OMG wtf have i done" and then he goes and kills little kids[/spoiler:36290ee4a2]

[spoil:42f8fedde8]yeah killing little kids in my opinion was very not cool.[/spoil:42f8fedde8] :?And I should have some pics of me and some bros soon seeing it. We had a lightsaber and challenged some kid, but the douche declined.. :( I wore a shirt that said iamajedikthnx. and another dude made a shirt that said: Shh I h4x on the front, and PWNED on the back. :D We also wrote like dome splitta all ourselves and got all into it. :D My friends dont play jk2... but they think the concept of hax, pwn, kthnx and the like is just hilarious.Btw...1) Im out of school for the summer! :D 2) that movie kicks arse.3) This movie had by far the best fight scenes.

At times the movie was cheesy.. Like when Vader finally gets his suit and he yells.. "Nooooooo" I laughed out loud, it sounded so out of place..It ties in the story nicely but, I think they could have made an entire other movie on the transition from Light side to dark.

Cheesy lines was definitely a downfall of this movie. Most of it makes sense; although slightly rushed.
And then Akon was like, Wooohooo! YEEHOOO!

I feel for snape... its very annoying when people freak out during the movie and clap or cheer them on. I can understand laughing... but rar. Also... I still can't figure why people would want to bring their 3 year old sons to see a friggin star wars movie. They are more annoying to keep shut up than what they can even understand out of the movie. I guess it's just so the parents can later on say, "Remember when we went and saw episode 3?" It's like this one kid the night I saw it. Everytime he saw Yoda he would be like "WEEEEEEE! ITS YODA MOMMY LOOK! ITS YODA DADDY LOOK! LOOK ITS YODA!" The parents would proceed to shush him up but it really didn't work. They had to leave the theater like 5 times.

What the hell? ANGRY WHY WON'T IT SPOIL PROTECT[spoiler:afba7dce1f]Ok well the movie was really good albeit there were a few things that are still unknown. The reason for Palpatine's evil is never explained, although some say he was the apprentice of the Darth Plageuis or whatever his name was. If this is true, then was he always a Sith like Darth Maul or did he fall to the dark side?I thought Anakin's killing of Mace was actually well done, because Mace really was not acting very Jedi like and Anakin actually was. This of course contrasts to how Anakin killed Dooku, but when he did he immediately felt bad for doing it. The space battle at the beginning was amazing, but it should have been longer although I bet the budget wouldn't have permitted that. One thing I did not expect was that he would be named Vader before he donned the armor, also I always thought Vader killed the Jedi after he got the armor too, so that was a little shock for me.Bail Organa was amazingly a major character in this one after being a loser in Episode 2. For some reason I had wished he had a bigger role in ep 2 and I was happy to see it here.General Grievous was a let down for me, I thought he would be a big total badass but he's just a fucking loser. In the clone wars cartoons he pwned some Jedi padawan noobs but come on he didn't even kill anyone in the movie.Palpatine fighting though was definately cool, although he seemed to have too much fun with it as he was always laughing even when he got hit.The end was a bit rushed, I think, as I wanted to see Qui Gon in blue glowie form. Apparently he was going to in Episode 2 but Liam broke his leg so he couldn't do it.Vader being corny was definately awkward, but totally understandable as he was really still Anakin and not the Vader we all know and love[/spoiler:afba7dce1f]
