The thing I though was funny throughout the series is the fighting. Ep.4 had the funniest fight ever between vader and kenobi. Ep.5 were better, Luke did a spin once I think, but generally better. Vader moved like a man that had been in a wheelchair for his entire life (sure, he got his legs cut off, but then Grevious only had his body). Ep.6 had a "realistic" fast fight, and not as much bullshit. Ep.1 was faster, and Darth Maul (agreed that he was the badass of the year) had some slick moves. Ep.2 was spoiled by Hayden Christenson being a horrible actor, but was almost saved by the funky fighting style (and yoda, god bless big green ears). Ep.3 definaly had the most bad ass fighting, and Hayden Christenson did better then the last film, but still HORRIBLE. ... I wouldn't toss Natalie Portman out of bed though.

If you want to follow the story line, then yes Vader would lose his combat edge from not needing to fight, but if you want a real explaination, it is because David Prowse was a loser and Ray Park was like a professional stunt man or something, not a real actor lol.Anyway, the audio in a star wars movie is never bad. John williams always seems to bring out the best out of some bad scenes, and the sound effects that we all know and love are still there. The effects for Grievous' purple staffs was definately a sound that added to the visuals of seeing those giant purple stun batons swing around.
