Gamespot gave BF2 a rating of 9.3 out of 10. I would give it like an 8.5 or somethin along those lines, considering I was not impressed with the demo. I admit the graphics are good but the gameplay is just the same as the previous battlefields.

the demo is pretty lame but the fact that the maps can alter size while a game is going on, that is pretty cool.

Squad leaders just about do nothing except relay the Commanders orders.

Squad leaders just about do nothing except relay the Commanders orders. :Pand call artillery and cause they're entire squad to spawn where they are....obviously you haven't played it enough to judge....

Calling artillery is just a relayed order by the Commander, just like I said, "the squad leaders relay the orders". I know you can spawn at the squad leaders, but that's nothing really fancy.
