So, today in Japan, Square Enix is holding an E3 type thing called the Square Enix Party 2005. As previously reported here at IGN, the montage of clips for this year's event began with a look at the PlayStation 3 Final Fantasy VII technical demonstration. While not containing any new footage, this trailer caught our eye because, unlike the E3 clip, there were no warning messages indicating that it wasn't from a game. As fans of the PlayStation original, we're hoping this is a sign.*crosses fingers

is that dvd release date for the US as well? or just japan?
