If you have a GameCube, which I doubt, you can get The Twin Snakes which is literally a remake from the ground up of the first MGS. It's O.K., but Solid Snake does some things in the cutscenes that you would see in Advent Children. Although it's a fun way to play the original over again. If you just want to play the original, I suggest you get Metal Gear Solid: Integral for the PC. It's more or less what Substance and Subsistence are for their games. It comes with a good collection of VR Missions, all unlocked already for the PC version. Demo Theater as well if you love the cutscenes.I suggest you get Substance off the internet. It comes with the original game and other goodies that give towards some replay value. I don't know why, but they saw fit to replace the Demo Theater with an ultra retarded Casting Theater that includes 10 cutscenes from the game that allows you to mix up the characters so you can see Rose taking out 3 Rays. It's not that entertaining. It also comes with a skateboarding mode that is entertaining for a little bit. The real meat is the VR Missions. There are like 500 missions to indulge in and although you start out with Snake and Raiden, you can unlock new characters like Snake in a Tux, and Raiden in a Ninja outfit. And each character has missions that are unique to them, and missions that everyone shares (like weapon training). One more cool feature is a first person mode that allowed you to play a couple missions in first person the whole way through. I think they should of used this for Subsistence.

Ok, so I'm posting in both threads. I bought a PS2 and Subsistence today, or.. yesterday. Haven't played Subsistence yet. I'm looking for a Cat5 to hook into the back of the PS2.Kam?! A PS2?! *dies*But seriously, for when you get your PS2 online, my name is Defunkled. I would try Best Buy for the Cat5 cable, that's where I got mine about 2-3 years ago. I think there's a Cat6, but it's more expensive and isn't really worth the extra money over the Cat5.Hope you can get online soon! Maybe you could pick up Monster Hunter and we could all have a get-together!

How do people always headshot me while running its hax i sayThey're running and they headshot you? That's really odd, because you can only use the auto-aim while moving, and that doesn't get you head shots. The only way to headshot is to aim in the first-person mode... :?thats why i said hax, i can never pull it off
