Another one of those Dirge of Cerberus threads

Yeah it's definitely a bit on the easy side, but since I'm only playing through it for the story/cutscenes I didn't bother changing it.The game itself is good, but not great. It does seem to be the same shit every level, but every level happens to be somewhere from FF7 and that makes it worthwhile. Like running around in the Nibelheim Mansion and seeing familiar places such as the room where you first find Vincent in his coffin. Several characters from FF7 make appearances throughout and come on... it's Vincent! A whole game dedicated to one of the coolest video game characters of all time! I'm still having trouble getting rid of this boner.The cutscenes are fantastic and it's great how they go into more detail for Vincent's background, which I've always thought was good.

couldn't have put it betterYes, as Snape put it, the nostalgia factor for this game is HUGE. Being able to roam around the Shinra Mansion and Train Graveyard in full 3D is quite something. Although, I wish they would have made the Shinra Mansion a bit bigger, as it feels confined and nowhere near as big as it did in Final Fantasy VII. There's one thing that bothers me, though. Because of the many mediocre reviews this game is getting, I've been hearing a lot of "SQUEENIX SHOULD STICK TO RPG'S BECAUSE THEY SUCK AT OTHER GENRES LOLZZZ". I would hardly agree, as people tend to forget the non-RPG gems that Square has developed in the past. Anyone remember Bushido Blade? Tobal 2? Einhander? Those were all absolutely amazing titles (even revolutionary, in Bushido Blade's case) and they were Square's first attempts at fighting and shoot-'em-up games. /end rant

Bushido Blade 2 was an awesome game. Required skill most of the time. Or you could be careless and get a quick characters and charge at your enemies and hopefully get lucky.

Omg, such a spectacular ending. I think this was a nice entry as the last chapter in the FFVII storyline.
