HALORGASM!that muthafucker looks fun. i read this 12 page exclusive interview with Bungie (EGM magazine) all about H3, and it sounds fuken awesome. they have these things called man-cannons now (though they said they will probably change the name later) and they are in your base. they launch you across like half the map really high up. looks and sounds hilariously fun. the spartan laser looks to be the new "uber-pwn" weapon, destroys vehicles like no other apparently. new grenades called spike grenades, they stick in things (see. walls, people) which sounds a little familiar, but eh, SPIKES! new things called door shields or something, the idea is that a person can pass through them but no gunfire or grenades can, which should make things interesting. new two-man ATV thingy good for capping in CTF (also good for launching from man-cannons!) and new Brute weapons which pretty much do the same thing, shoot huge metal spikes at people.but biggest secret plan they have, which they have only hinted at, is the use of the X button, which is the only button they haven't given the use for. (they printed a config map for the controller in that issue.) During the match between Bungie and EGM, the X button did nothing. However, at the end of the match, EGM overheard one of the developers say discreetly to another, "How many times did you mash the X button in that match?" And the other dev laughed and said "Alot." So, it could be a sprint button. But EGM (and I, for what it's worth) believe that it's going to relate to your shield. This means that we'll probably be manually charging our shields now. I think that's fuckin' sweet!Not sure if this is info is posted elsewhere, but I thought I would share what I know with youz guyz. I can't wait for Halo 3, my bud has 360 and a 50 inch HDTV with all best image connection thingies, so the picture is fucking intense. I might even buy the 360 myself, if they can secure MGS4 for the 360 (which seems likely at the moment, considering the heavy pressure Konami is putting on Kojima to make a 360 version. Ha ha, I remember all the hype about HALO 2 and then I got to play it like a month or so later, and I was like, "Hm...this is fun, but what was all the hype about?"Then I got bored with it twenty minutes later.
