After playing for 5 hours (straight) I think I'll throw in my tidbit. This is what they consider an "asian grindfest" at its core. A lot of it is "mindless killing" but to be honest it kept my attention and I lost track of time. Since I have a short attention span typically it goes two ways with a new MMO: if I play the game more than 30 minutes it has potential, if I play a game more than 2 hours I can recommend it to other people.Bottom line: A lot like Lineage 2 but with a SciFi/Fantasy twist. It's free now and you really have nothing to lose except the time downloading and installing it up so give it a shot. This game isn't for everyone and if your looking for deep character customization and an in depth storyline this isn't your MMO savior.

deep character customization Sorry Guesswho gonna have to disagree with you on deep character customization. You can cross class in this game twice, so all in all you get 3 classes, your base class which is either Warrior, Ranger, Spiritualist, or Specialist. Then once you hit 30 you can change to any of the lvl 30 classes which are broken down a bit, for example. As Cora you can be a warrior to lvl 30 then get summoner which allows you to have pets, and at 40 you can choose any of the other classes. Which is very nice customization. So essentially if you really wanted to you could make a jack of all trades master of none a warrior, spellcaster and a range class.

It's still pretty basic run of the mill Asian MMO shit.

Don't get me wrong by what I said. The game does offer some decent customization options like the things you listed with class crossing and whatnot, but what I mean by "deep" character customization... I think mus listed a good example with CoH's character creation. No other game has yet to rival the character customization options on CoH/CoV with Star Wars Galaxies probably coming the second closest. And thats really only "character creation" depth and not really going into skills. I would have to say of all MMOs I've played so far SWG might take the cake for the best class customization but that is all gone now anyway.PS: I would like to add that RF Online is one of the best if not the best free to play MMO out there right now, but it certainly isn't the best "MMO" currently. I'd also like to say I currently do have CoH/CoV activated and the game is certainly in the top 5 on my list, but every MMO has a weak point and CoX for me is something that is inevitable. (Played it for over a year and a half in game time so far and its starting to get boring, but a year and a half is a LONG way for an MMO.)
