AGP SmartGart trouble

i recently had to replace my hard drive and reinstall xp. after downloading all the windows updates and installing the latest drivers for my vid card i go into the ati catalyst menu and try to turn on agp in smartgart. when i turn on the settings it prompts me to reboot. after the my pc reboots i got back to the agp smartgart settings in catalyst and it turned it back off. now i cant play any games, and its saying that no 3d acceleration is detected wheen i try to play WoW. can anyone help?heres my pc specsMotherboard = ASUS A7N8X-ECPU = Athlon xp +3200 2.2 400 FSBRAM = 1.5 GB pc 2700 kingstonVideo Card = ATI Radeon Sapphire X1650 512 MB

did you enable it in the BIOS? if it's disabled there, there's no way windows can detect it ON
