WarHawk vs. Call of Duty 4 (Help Me)

Post by Evangelion »

When I get a PS3 (hopefully), I'm looking forward to having a good online game along with Metal Gear Online. So far, I'm stuck between these two games. They both cost the same, but WarHawk comes with the BlueTooth Headset, which I could also use for Metal Gear Online. Could you guys help me out and give some honest opinions on these games, specifically their online longevity? Which one do you find yourselves going back to the most often?

Tough choice honestly. Both are good games, atleast i think warhawk is. I know Cod 4 is a kick ass game. I honestly have no clue on what kind of game warhawk is. I havent looked anything into it. But why not try something new? Eh plus the headset would be nice for mgs4. It all really comes down to what you want to play. But my voice of opinion would be Warhawk...By the way...im drunk again.... :D

I own both. Warhawk was pretty fun when I started out, since most of the gaming I did was spent in an aircraft. But when I actually understood what team was which and the objectivs yadayadaya and I actually had to to something on foot/in a car... It feels like half a game, with no real time spent thinking on how to make fighting on foot fun. Plus, the only time you actually are of any use is when you use the rocketlauncher.. fighting everyone else who spends all their time in airplanes. Havn't tried the expansion, but it's evedently sopposed to have some sort of transport car and a new plane. Still not enough to save the game from utter shit.Call of Duty. Nuff said. Great game, and the rpg element of completing objectives and such is pretty addicting. The headset part.. the neat thing about the ps3 is that as long as it's blutooth, you can connect it. I have the headset, and while it's pretty hard to use, still good to have. But like I said, you can get any blutooth headset to work, so don't buy warhawk just for the headset.

Don't you just click a button to talk? Or is the setup a pain in the ass?

But clicking once on the headset mutes it, clicking again unmutes (with the warhawk set). Trouble is remembering what you put it on, such as the time I was watching porn simultainiusly as I was playing. Awkward situation but multitasking ftw.Set up is easy as piss, if you read the manual. I hate manuals, but I yeilded, and after that is was easy.
