"SWG has no content" More inside?!!11!
Well...after evert FoTM Combat Medic/Riflemen you see walking around, I decided to try and do different professions. As soon as I have fun with Master Pistoleer for awhile, I may go for master Artisan or something, just to shake things up. Or even Squad Leader...and...carbineer for when we do dungeons.I agree that an academy or something would be awesome, and it's just kind of interesting for me to not have access to everything in the game with so little. Like speeders, and what not. That I can just whip it out and drive like a pro, first time on. Besides that, my twitch skills aren't exactly..amazing anymore. Quit doing anything but lifting and point-and-click fighting. lolI'm wondering how they're going to work this out, though. How damage/repair will work. And I do have...uh, the second Rogue Squadron on GameCube, but that's kind of boring multiplayer, (maybe it's just me)? Cos when I play someone, I just fly around, them spraying fire at me...for about two hours?!
And then Akon was like, Wooohooo! YEEHOOO!
yeah its kinda hard with few players because theres like no action. but a massive multiplayer flight sim is always gold. i dunno about repairing or stuff but i bet it will be close to the garages, like you fly into a shop and you pay a fee to have some guy with his pants falling down to repair. anyway flavor of the month cm rifleman is quite annoying but ive never been either (cm for 1 day doesnt count) so i guess i get a cookie?
Despite what everyone else may think, I think, (just out of the blue), is that there were more a feel or routine-ness. Like, faction related things could be more stressed. With bases that may just pop up in nowhere, and make some kind of reason for that base to be there, (better crafting, reduced harvesting fees), to the faction that holds it. It could stay up for a few weeks. Then, it's just a king of the hill battle. Whoever can control will get benefits from it, but it's not permanent, but benificial enough for players to seek out the next one.The fact that SWG is not such a steep grinding game, is a double sword in my opinion. Sure it's easier to try things out, and different then normal, but after you master and have fun with it, not much to do. Unless you can find ways to do it.That's why I kind of feel this is actually a real mmoRPG. Note the RPG, see the game is not like all others where you grind, and grind, and grind to get powerful. Once you have your template, it's up to you to decide what to with that. Role-players, I think, have a field day with that. So instead of having to grind day and night, just to stay on par with everyone else, they get what they want, and role-play.But, back to the routine-ness. Rather then playing sporadically, and coming back and making such dynamic changes, you could always find a group of rebels doing something, (be it guarding something, searching something) and fall into that pretty easy. Return of battlefields will be a great thing in my opinion. Or, if patrolling something precious, in space expansion, ya know, with raids and what not would be pretty cool. What I'm trying to say is, that I don't want to have something new every day SCREAMING AT ME TO DO SOMETHING! But a little suprise is interesting. If PVP and Raids had some incentive, and professions have strengths and weaknesses, things would be better.

If you can have shops in space, I will buy a new account and make Ships. Then put a shop in a random asteroid field, and only tell a couple people where it is. If my ships are good. I probably won't want a profit. Also, I hope you can buy illegal things and put them on your ship. Then the po po come after you if they find out. PWN!When SE comes out, i'll drop pistoleer, master BH, then max out as much pilot as I can.
