After the showing of the Wii, I've heard nothing but positive things about Nintendo. Surely, I am a Sony fanboy (rather, whichever console SquareSoft and Konami are on), but I only have the utmost respect for Nintendo and what they are trying to do with the Wii. They're trying something different and not blending into the crowd. No one can downplay the history that Nintendo has. As Snape said, look at the Super Nintendo. There are games on that system that will never be touched in terms of quality and greatness. (Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV/VI come to mind).I think debating about the "system wars" is one of the dumbest things, and Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft will be here to stay. I wish the best of luck to all of them and hope that their competition will produce some truely great games.

Both Sony and Microsoft have stated the significance of the Wii, it's a whole other animal. Most interest at E3 this year was in the Wii, and most praise went to the Wii too. This weighs up the pros and cons of Nintendos booth and Wii's demo for this year.

the wii was easily the biggest buzz at e3 how the hell can one lame ass halo 3 trailer compare to the fact that nintendo pulled 3rd party characters in ssb out of their ass? not to mention people got to experience the new controller firsthand.if anything should be worried it is the xbox but not because of anything i think or anything anyone esle thinks but because of this one guy's startling discoveries:fuck i cant find the link but it is a ytmnd about how the xbox IS the next dreamcast

I are a Nintendo Fan-boiiiiiiiiiiilol. I like the DS, and find it better for gaming than the PSP, which just seems to be used as a mini TV or a pretty MP3 player. I haven't seen anybody that owns one play games on it. DS needs more games, though.xbawkz 360 is the poor man's super computer (not poor really lolololol just not willing to pay $1,500 for a decent comp). PS3 is "innovative technology." THE WII OMG could've stuck with the name Revolution, however the new name is growing on me. The Wii is aerobics at its finest, and is also the one that will be getting my purchase. F.I agree with Mus.
Boyfriend was looking around a store awhile back and one of the staff came up and tried to sell him a 360 by telling him how good it is and that it ran games like Oblivion just great at which point my boyfriend said it runs great on his PC too, The guy asked what his PC cost then pointed out the 360 was cheaper so it was pointed out he could afford the PC and still buy the 360 the fact that PC games can also be modded in ways not possible on a console wasnt even mentioned.Moral of the story is PC owns all
Actually we will probably get a 360 at somepoint aswell as atleast one of the others coming along as soon as its worth it, but right now there are no games I have seen worth buying a 360 for that we cant get on the PC as soon as there is we will (HALO 3 comes to mind but im sure there are others)
