I signed up long ago, but they still haven't accepted me. I think it's because I read the Silmarillion, and I selected "I read the Silmarillion" of the question for how well you know Middle-Earth. They know that I'll catch all the inacuracies, of which there will be plenty, doubtless. They want to keep a brotha down, the bastards. Shame, too, because I really wanted to give the game a shot without buying it, because I imagine it will dissapoint me, like every other MMO I have played. Bah.It might be random. Met some ppl from this week's new batch of testers who said they signed up 3 months ago. Anyways i'm on Brandywine now, name's Bankai.

So did anyone actually purchase this game? I totally missed the beta and I'm wondering how this thing is doing. WoW is still holding up decently enough with their expansion and from what I've heard this game isn't the WoW killer. Then again, I don't even think warhammer will be a wow killer...Anyway... has anyone bought this or have any comments on it?

Check this game coming out called "Hellgate: London". It's being made by the guys who have done Diablo and other MMORPGs. It looks really cool and has a full single player campaign and has an online element to it as well that might be subscription based, but info hasn't been released on that yet. Went ahead and just decided to buy this and try it out. Installing now and will let everyone know after I try it out.And all things aside, I did the same with with City of Heroes when it came out. Down the road they came out with City of Villains and I was glad I did it. Odds are they will do the same thing with LOTRO, come out with an expansion way down the road for the "bad guys." Just a hunch!
