I picked this up a couple of months back and played 10 minutes of it. It looks like it could be a good game, but what the hell is the deal with the loading times before every random battle? Too noticable for my liking.Plus Kaim doesn't run, he minces.

yeah microsoft kind of gimped game development by not having a HDD in all their sku's. installing about of 1mb of data onto the hard drive can greatly improve load times. the load times are long but i'm used to it now.

Eh i can agree with snape about the weird loading times before every battle, but it doesnt bother me enough to discourage me from the game. I just got to the second disk and i love this RPG. The story is a little different from others because its more about the characters it seems like that some huge power player taking over the world. Which its getting to that, just Kaim has such a huge past, that his character development apparently takes some time. But its a really good game probably one of my favorites personally.

So I decided to give this game one more shot since I've been stuck at home all week with this bitch of a virus doing the round here in Britland. And I'm quite hooked! When you install this game to your HD and run it from there, the random battle load times drops from 10 secs to just a couple and it's barely noticeable. This was something that (as posted above) really put me off the first time round. On Disc 2 now and enjoying the story, music, visuals, characters etc. and the thousand years of dreams are all very nicely told. Would recommend, but only if you install to the hard drive first!

Hell no, I fell for that one already. She told me it didn't spread from the mouth. Now I know better.
