Aaaahahahhaha asians. But really, can someone explain to me what this war is between Russia and Georgia? I've heard a few things about it, but what is it over? There's been tension between Georgia and South Ossetia since Stalin decided to annex SO to Georgia. South Ossetia have wanted their independance back from Georgia since the USSR broke up, and Goergia haven't been too pleased about it.Tension escalates, the American trained Georgian troops are sent into SO and start blowing shit up. The Russians get involved and tear Georgia a new one (went in a bit heavy handedly).Taking a step back, it was more than what we see on the surface. Rather than it being a conflict stemming from the expansion of the USSR alone. It was actually a continuation of the Cold War. The yanks have trained the Goergian military, they're trying to set up the missle defence system in the region and they're getting a lot of backlash from the Russians. It was pretty much the Americans using the Georgians to size up the Russians military capabilities, using the conflict between SO and Georgia to do so.
