7up tell your friend to delete the jk2mpconfig file and run it again to see if it works.Mine has recently encountered a similar problem, the single player runs fine on any resolution but if I try running the MP on anything greater than 640x480 it shuts the PC down.Something I plan on looking into tonight is the registery settings to see if thats affecting it anywhere. Until then I can't get into JK2 at all.

i cant play single player anymore....which sucks cause last time i played it was before i strted playing multiplayer...
