A plea from yours truly

Okay, here's the way I see this all:First off, I don't really even have time to play. Yeah, okay jeer me all you want, but a *game* just isn't as important as school for me right now. I'm sorry if you think that this is more important then doing well in school, but that's what I believe right now. Besides that, it's spring, and I'm a wee bit tired of being cooped up inside. I've been doing more things outside, at the expense of playing time. It mainly adds up to, what do I want to do with my spare time, (which isn't very long in the first place).To coincide with this is that, to play galaxies, you can't play for a short time, and get something out of it. You have dedicate a lot of time to get something accomplished. Time I just don't have right now.Next, Radiant.Jorjoh...is just boring. I'm one skill tree away from Master Gunfighter, but there's nothing fun about it anymore. I don't have enough skill points to do anything but master it. Creature Handler...I'll never master, and I can't drop master medic, or I'll be even weaker. So I started a new character on Ahazi. This was months ago, and I figured I'd go Bounty Hunter, but realized I'd have to dedicate my life to the game for awhile, so I picked up a sword, and am having fun with Heavy swords there. It's been quite fun, and the Imperial guild is good there.I honestly don't mean to put anyone down, or say anthing against anyone, (cos it's on the things I love about you guys), is that they are able to get down to business when it's needed to be done. It's just frustrating sometimes when you're trying to get an idea across, and the thread turns into spam two posts later. Not to say that anyone here is immature, but they are able to hold intelligent conversations about things they need done, then, they do it. I always kind of wished we could be this way. The communication is hard, to cos of time zones, and coordinating things are hard. Plus, I've found new things in the game that keep it interesting, instead of Quenker mission, after Quenker mission, aftter Quenker mission. Or aimlessly running around the town for hours without purpose. And the fact that we can't all enjoy, or dedicate all hours of the day, every day of the week of our life to play doesn't help either.I don't know about anyone else, but I simply can't play 24/7, as I have things in real life that are more important right now. Eventually, I will be able to work my way back in, and begin playing more, maybe having more fun with Radiant. For now, it's just not there for me. I'm not motivated to work on anything on him, I've got nothing to do on Radiant, I'm having more fun with ahazi right now, and then I don't have much time to play anyways.

Jordan...noone said that your gaming life should over run your school life...by all means DO GOOD IN SCHOOL! All Dai is saying is that a bunch of us feel betrayed. I undertand that alot of you find the game "boring" and I feel REALLY sorry for all of you that think lineage 2 is more fun than SWG ever will be...because that's bullshit. SWG has more content yet to come...hence the space expantion and god only knows where they'll go form there. The fact of the matter is...our city is going to die unless we get citizens. (BTW we qualify for our next upgrade...we will upgrade in about 24 hours and we WILL have a shuttle port.) As for those of you who go to lineage 2 and play that for a month and decide it's become too boring for you to play and wanna come back to swg. You can find another place to put your houses...I don't want you to come back to the city you were all so quick to abandon (without a care of anyone else that still plays and worked hard to make it work).

Speaking for just myself Juggs on your reply there, I find it kinda selfish in a way. First off this isnt a free game to play, so therefore like I have always said, if a game someone has to pay to play get just the slightest bit boring they do have the right to canel thier account or play it out until the account is retired. They shouldn't have to worry about where to put thier house if they come back to the game if they are in FoU to begin with. I mean the way you are talking is since I left when the city was underway and when I do come back after the boredom lifts I will have to go to another city because I didn't play during the time you guys were "working so hard" on getting the city up and going. I myself didn't feel as if I abandoned anyone when I stopped playing. The day came when my account was over with and I didnt feel like spending 30 more bucks at the moment on getting another game card. So, your descion means I will not have a place to live when I come back to play later is fine with me. When I do return I am going Imperial anyways, but that really sucks for those that thought after they took a break and came back they wont have a city to put thier houses.Its good stuff bro, kinda reminds of like the 30's and 40's in Germany. SO our city is Communist, NICE!

I'm not selfish at all...i'm not telling anyone to play something that they don't want to. But I'm not gonna welcome back you guys with open arms when you just up and abandoned the city that we've worked so hard build. To say i'm selfish is a bit of "the pot calling the kettle black" Who was the one who went on the forums and used his influance to convince people to quit? Not I... If you find swg boring, by all means don't play it. Don't pay for an account to play it. I could give a fuck less if you find SWG boring..cause I still love the game even when there are a few slow days. I WILL make this city work one way or another, with or without you. You want to call me selfish for wanting to make this city work? That is bullshit man...total bullshit... I'm making this city for those of us who DO still play swg and DO still love the game. If that's selfish then I'm fucking george bush jr.I will also add that there sure is alot of I's and Me's in that last post of yours des...who's being selfish now?

I won't sit here and argue with you anyways cause your descions have no impact on me. To me for example, since Cyph moved on to Lineage 2 for a bit and he decides to come back to SWG, even though he has played this game FOREVER and helped many members of the clan grind profession after profession and given money and given items and all that, he cant come back to the city is what you are talking about - that my friend is a HUGE load of bullshit. I'd like to stay here and debate this with you but I unfortunetly have to leave for work. I will have a looksie when I return home to see what you have added to this post.

Cypher, as far as i know didn't cancel his account....I'm sorry that you feel the need to insult me for stating how I feel...but quite frankly FUCK YOU! I haven't made any judgement on you or anyone else...to insult me on this forum is childish and uncalled for. Being FoU dosen't give you a free ride...by this I mean...why should we just let those of you who just up and walk away come right back in as if nothing ever happened? Saying that cypher helped all these new players get on they're feet...is that supposed to mean something to me? Your acting as if I did nothing to help new players or FoU.
