Looks kinda lame...bah.. humbug. big robots planting woopass on other big robots? im up for it. but i hope they dont use a Final Fantasy like fighting style.Bane,it is very much like Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactics Ogre. I'm playing the demo right now, and it's very stratigic/tactical. But it's pretty fun so far. I could just imagine a full online version were there are tournaments, leagues, all that really cool stuff. This is the perfect game for something like that... :P

Squaresoft created good games, but now with Enix together, I hope Square-Enix doesn't f*ck up in the future, I want to see more cool games such as Final Fantasy VII, VIII, even IX and X. In X-2, I liked the story at first, but after replaying it, it is kinda weird, I'm not hoping it will turn out bad for the FF series, or any other products of Square-Enix.(I have never played Front Mission before, I heard a lot of things, that it was good and all... but couldn't get the game, so I can't judge.)

meh.. maybe. the whole ff system gets me bored after a while(mind you ff is the shizzle). OH LOOK, a random incounter with a robot.....yay?It's very different from Final Fantasy. It's basically a turn based strategy game. Tactics play a heavy hand. It's not all about level like an RPG; it's about knowing your team, enemy and knowing your terrain. You must have a wide range of weapons and items, upgrade and change your Wanzers (the big robots, pronounced Van-sers) according to the mission and terrain. Large cityscapes may need high booster power for being able to jump on top of tall buildings, to get to the enemy. Open fields would need high stats on leg parts, to travel at greater distances toward the enemy. You also need to change armor types, to defend against melee, fire or machinegun fire weapons, or impact weapons like shot guns.In FM4 though, they've added something called the link system. This allows two team mates to perform attacks together, or defencive actions together. You also, if I saw correctly, are able to attack multiple targets. It realy is fun. I love games that supply a strong story line, but I also love strategy and tactical games. FM is for people like myself. This new game also, because it's based in a large scale war, unlike the previous, has options for calling in for air support, EMP (electro-magnetic-pulse), allowing you to disable enemies. And a lot more.My only problem with this, is it being in the timeline before Front Mission 3. I would really have liked to have seen what happened in Japan after the MIDAS situation in FM3. Oh well, maybe the FM Online game will give us some insight.

Games like this are a good thing to calm you down and think a bit. Personally, i'm lookin' foreward to this also.Looks like it's comin out June 15 here in the States...Anyway, I found some boxart for the final release. I think it's kinda mediocre, but hey, it's Square Enix, they can do whatever the hell they want... :P

I could do a far better job... Eva, we need a naked picture of you!

I bet that the box art will somehow effect the sales of the game. Seriously, people will look at it and go "WTF?! What kind of game is this? Does it have to do with Mechs or sleeping naked people?!". Anyway, I found a shot of the Japanese box art...I know it's not very big, but that's the biggest I could find.It still looks a bit mediocre, but it's hell of a lot better than the box art we get... :?
