the real reason makes a load of sense.only people 18 and over can sign an NDA, a non disclosure agreement. This agreement says you cant say shit about the game to non beta testers, and if you do, you get sued so many times you wouldnt realize you'd have that much money, and you could never play an soe game again.

They do a Credit Card verification, so if you have the game payed for with a card in your name and you arent 18, your FACKED. Im 20 and a First day vet so HELLO BETA TO ME DANMFKLASMNDLGNLNLAP!
