Mario 128 I heard that Shigeru Miyamoto told Famitsu magazine that Mario 128 would be for GameCube and not the Revolution. But why? Wouldn't it be better to have it as a launch title for the Revolution? Unless they have something else up their sleeves... Matt responds: Yeah. I figured Mario 128 was a surefire launch title for Revolution. In the past, executives from Nintendo of Japan even indicated that Mario is destined to star in the premiere game that shows off new hardware, all but saying that Mario 128 would grace Revolution. However, recently, the folks at EGM interviewed NOA's vice president of sales of marketing Reginald Fils-Aime on the subject of Mario 128, and he was quoted as saying, "… it's coming out on GameCube." At this point, I can only assume that he's telling the truth and that we'll see the game on the current console. Perhaps we'll learn more at E3 2005. That'd be a hell of a nice surprise.*in a Q&A just this weekthere fool
