So Nintendo is coming out with another gameboy??Supposedly. People think that the DS is just an experiment, seeing how gamers would react to that innovation and design, the games and such. And that they'll base the next handheld off this research. Though this is complete bull since no company in their right minds would risk wasting so much money on that. They're probably just continuing the Gameboy handheld series as they've always planned. Nothing wrong with having two consoles in the market. Hell, people like Sony are ok to release three versions of the PS2; it's fine for two handhelds. And it might just secure Nintendos place at the top of the handheld market.

The DS has some nice functions, and i bet wario ware is one of the premier DS experiences, which is kinda sad because that will bring its good game total to 2, which will barely pass the Xbox (from a few years ago, mainly around 2002 when all it had was just halo.) as a "2 hit wonder". If the new gameboy can use some of the DS' functions like wireless "network", microphone, internal clock, etc coupled with better graphics, then it should be a nice thing to have. If sega is to make a comeback, they would definately, sadly lose. In the console department, they will have serious competition with all 3 big companies making new systems, and in the handheld they won't be able to keep up with the PSP, but could edge the DS if it doesn't show any signs of improvement in the game department.

SEGA has no need to go back into console development anyway, it's making enough money from Publishing and Developement; The Matrix Online anyone? Give SEGA five years and they'd easily have made back money made on the loss of the Dreamcast and its publishment failures during the DC's market time. They will be rivaling the likes of EA.

No they won't. By then EA will have purchased the exclusive rights to gaming in general. They'll be the only company left.

I think... :?Agreed, they can't make anything besides Madden and NCAA football. The only other decent sports game, and game in general, that they make is MVP baseball, but for all their other games it's almost as if they just run out of effort making them and just release it like it was a buyable beta or something that they slightly tweak next year in the sequel.
