Also, you should definitely give FFVI and FFIV a try.Like everyone would agree, FFVII and so on were very large worlds with tons of things to do. In my opinion, that's not exactly a great thing. I guess mini-games are fun...but FFVI is much more enjoyable to me, at least, because it is very story-driven.That was a downfall of FFVII for me."Hey, there's a enormous meteor that has appeared in the sky. A maniac bent on taking over the Earth for some alien is on the loose! Let's all go...race chocobos!"FFVI...I could just go on about how much I love that game, so I will.Kidding.

The Snapey Guide To Final Fantasy GamesFinal Fantasy I, II & III (NES)Didn't play much of these, I'm sure they might have been something special back in the day but playing them now is about as much fun as rubbing your penile weapon with a cheesegrater. Some pleasure to be had, but mostly just painful.Final Fantasy Mystic Quest (SNES)Well... it wasn't bad... but the main characters name was Benjamin. BENJAMIN. What kind of shitty name for a hero is that? "Oh no it's the legendary Benjamin, run for your lives!" I don't think so.Final Fantasy IV (SNES)Quite good this one, graphics were diabolical but the storyline was nice. Yet again the hero is given a stupid name, this time it's Cecil and he means business.Final Fantasy V (SNES)Ignoring the main characters name once more (BUTZ?! Why not just call him PENIZ and have done with it) this is a major step up from the last one. Storyline is good again, the graphics are a lot better and the classes system was revolutionary. Red mages ftw!Final Fantasy VI (SNES)This remains one of my favourite games in the series and of all time. Story was awesome, graphics fantastic but it's the depth of the characters that really seals it. The Celes opera scene is one of the all time greats, right up there with Aeris dying. Good jorb!Final Fantasy VII (PSX)Fave game ever. Just played through this recently doing everything there is to do in the game, which is a lot. Great characters, graphics set the standard for FMV sequences at the time, story was immense... a classic in every sense of the word.Final Fantasy VIII (PSX)Hmmm. I was a bit disappointed with this after how much I loved VII to be honest. Squall was a cool cat and everything, but all he ever really said was '...' which got a bit old. Thought the love element in this was great, but I never felt like the characters had much background to them, kinda how I felt after playing through Chronotrigger. Didn't like the story much at all either.Final Fantasy IX (PSX)Enjoyable, but nothing special. After VIII didn't do as well as hoped, they went back to the VII style of graphics with is a good thing IMO. Don't remember much about this though, nothing really stands out as a memorable event.Final Fantasy X (PS2)What. The. Fuck. The hell was this? Starring some shitty Swedish pornstar loser as the main character, a shitty storyline with an even shittier twist at the shitty end. Blitzball was shit... and the fact you can't explore the world map or fly your airship around?! SHIT. Only good thing about this is the graphics... oh and Auron was pretty cool.Didn't bother with X2 or XI, XII etc. cos I don't think FF was meant for multiplayer (and X2 didn't appeal to me at all... why make a FF sequel for the shittiest game in the genre?). The Advent Children movie, which I loved in every way, hooked me back into the FF world. So much so that I ordered the Cloud and Sephiroth coldcast statues and... the piece de resistance... Cloud on his bike. They all rock, the only one I still want to get is almost impossible to find and costs a fortune which is this one:..................................................[size=24:0d862ace2c] AERIS DIES?!!?!?!? [/size:0d862ace2c]

I'm going through VII at the moment :> It's actually my first time this far, since my first time playing it I quit when I got to the chocobo farm, haha. Beat Ruby yesterday
Wewt. I'm a bit disappointed because he was so easy with mime and kotr-hp absorb ;o Bleh.Anyway, now that I also had my passion for FF renewed I'm planning to do everything there is left to do in VII and then move on to VIII, and then IX.So much to do and so little time
I'm so excited!
VI is great too but I dunno. I may or may not end up playing through it. Har har

Snape, you're talking about FFX-2, not FFX. FFX-2 was pretty damn gay, also!!!
