All of the mainstream beliefs of religon contradict what being human is meant to be, and that is why I choose not to believe it.Yes, very nicely put enna. Very nice. That is completely true. If you think about what the essence of a human is, you'll realize that what is considered sin by Christians is completely natural in the human spirit. There are so far only two religions (well three but I can't even fucken think of the name of the third) that I respect and hold very highly. One of which I am and the other my dad is. Paganism and Buddhism. Both Paganism and Buddhism do not believe that other people will be damned if they do not believe in what they believe in. They are both very open minded religions. When your a pagan you can take in any parts of any religion and mesh it into what you want (Native American rituals, astrology, reiki, mythology, gods goddesses, etc) I still haven't seen anybody incorporate Christianity or any of those knock off religions with their spirituality yet. Another reason why I like paganism, their to fucken smart to buy all that mainstream religion bull shit. Great people.Anyways, what I'm trying to get at, is that most of you have not been exposed to the good stuffs. All you see is mainstream religions on television and local churches and jehovahs witnesses, etc. But you gotta realize that's not all there is.

Um I don't have any problems with religion but I do hate people who go around parading the fact that Jesus is coming back or God will save us all. Also I hate the French, Gay People, and Moldy cheese...

I also read about how Catholics (way back in the day) burned down Ancient Roman and Greek libraries. It was full of their literature and their past (this is also way after Ancient Rome and Greece crumbled as civilizations). The pope at the time ordered for these libraries to be burnt to the ground because "it made him think". I can't even comprehend what they did there.... Imagine how much knowledge was in those libraries....

Imagine how much knowledge was in those libraries....the roman catholic church spent years burning anything and everything that could possibly contradict their silly beliefs.....not all was burned tho.....the Vatican still holds multitudes of writings in the Vatican vaults locked away for all time.....any and all of the documents could prove what a total sham catholicism really was and is....

Yes, exactly! It fucken pisses me off so god damn much. I read this novel by Tom Robbins called Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates. It incorporated that in the story, even though it wasn't even a big part of the plot. There were three predictions made by 'virgin mary' that these three spanish kids said they witnessed hundreds of years ago. The third prediction was lost, but got into the hands of these nuns. The first two predictions proved true. They showed the pope the third prediction and he flipped out. Locked himself in his room for three days crying. Than he ordered all copies of the prediction to be burned. (one got out by accident.)The fucking prediction ended up saying that there would be enlightenment and happiness coming from the pyramids and not catholicism, so he freaked out and burned the prediction. (ended up from the pyramids wasn't Egypt.... it came from a south american tribe, who's leader had a head the shaped like a pyramid)

Interesting indeed....and going back to the topic of gay people, yes....many great people of this world were gay. Hm....yes, Alexander as you said already was bisexual. Da Vinci himself was gay actually, for in his private journals and drawings he had very little knowledge of what the female body looked like.I myself....well, I don't hate gay people, but I personally detest them. As for religion, i'm a bit religious myself, but I understand all your views. And Snape....I don't exactly blame the guy for not wanting to go and "spend an afternoon in your house" :eep:
