It's pretty sad that you worry about the systems hardware specs over it's games.Well see Evan, when you become an adult and you yourself have to actually spend 200 bucks of your hard earned working money you will want to buy what is best for your money, not what games are out for a specific console. There is nothing better console wise than that of the Xbox. Honestly when Halo for PC comes out, it won't even look half as good. Thats what is taking Microsoft and Bungie so long to get it to the PC. They have to make it compatible with all the lower end gaming pcs. Not every7one has an Alienware Area 51 pc in thier living room.So spec wise to finish this - when you go to buy a computer at best buy, what do you look at? The games it can play, or the games it can play and look amazing? That is the difference between the 2. 1 has more games (been out a year longer - that would be the only reason) the other (Xbox) has less games, but the games that are on the PS2 look twice as good on the xbox. Any web site will tell you that.Your way of thinking is off. You are saying that you would buy a Pentium 2 over a Pentium 4, just because the pentium 2 has a few games you like but yet the Pentium 4 can play the same games and make them look like real life. :)And for those people putting the game cube in comparison with the PS2 and Xbox... LOL! think again. 99 bucks! Gimme a break. A nintendo 64 is still 89 bucks. Nintendo sucks balls and is baby based. Resident Evil licks balls because of the controls. Looks nice but plays like shit. Metriod prime, anothe one that looks AMAZING, but with that gay ass kiddie controller plays like a gay piece of ass.I can go on and on forever talking about the comparisons of the 3, I have all the facts and all the proof of which one takes the trophy.Just my 2 cents.Oh yeah... Actually Des, I do buy all my consoles. I bought my PS2 with my own money, my GBA, my Dreamcast, and my Playstation One. The only one of my consoles that I DIDN'T buy with my own money was my Super Nintendo. And I think your opinion about the cube being "baby based" is really off. I mean c'mon, just cause it's games don't suite you, doesn't mean that they are babyish. And also about Xbox having better games.......Does it have Final Fantasy? No. Does it have Grand Theft Auto? No. Does it have Zone of the Enders? No. Does it have Devil May Cry? No. Does it have SOCOM? No. Does it have Ico? No. Does it have Dark Cloud 2? No.But I know that XBOX has some good games like Halo, Shenmue 2, and some other good games, but when I tell people that the XBOX doesn't have enough quality games, the only thing that they can throw at me is Halo, like you just did.LOL, and one more thing, when you say that you dislike awesome games like Metroid Prime because of the controller that you have to use to play them, that's pretty sad.

Eva, it has Shenmue. 'Nuff said.But seriously, you should look at the games rather than specs, but then; the specs are what attract the games. The PS2 has had the better line up, but now the XBox has been realised as the greater system, and people are flocking to it. Look at Sega and AM2, one of the first game developers to recognise its greatness. Who gives a shit about Final Fantasy and what not (Hell, Square only produce shit now. Their games are becoming boring. Becoming? Are.)XBOX:Fable,Shenmue/ Shenmue 2 (soon 3),Halo/ Halo 2,Mech Assault,Marvel vs Capcom 2,Ninja Gaiden,Panzer Dragoon Orta,Knights of the Old Republic (blows the latest Final Fantasy Games our of the water).These are only a few of the great titles out. Playstation is buying some of the biggest shit I've ever seen, not good enough for the market. The XBox is the new Dreamcast, King of the consoles. PS2 is nothing, but the peasant.PS: Dreamcast owns all!

Mus, just cause you think Final Fantasy sucks, doesn't mean other people hate it. Why do you think it sells so much? And KOTOR is a totally different game than Final Fantasy.And Dreamcast does own.

Oh and Marvel vs Capcom 2 is also on PS2, so that doesn't count.

Still though, nearly every single good game coming out is either coming out exclusively on Xbox or on Xbox as well as other systems.

Final Fantasy sells so good, in the same way any product that has been sold in a series sells. The name. The games are actually shite, I've enjoyed a good few games made by Squaresoft, but all they're doing now is selling off the name of past products.And about KOTOR; an RPG is an RPG. Which ever one executes the idea of being able to Role Play better, is the better game.
