I only like the Airsoft snipers (the good ones), and the gas pistols. The machine guns are a waste of money in my opinion, since the only real use of Airsoft is to piss people off. Pistols work just fine, and snipers work exceedingly fine.

As for rifles...well fully-automatic fire can be extremely fun. Mine fires about 14 shots/second, so I load about 40 bbs into my trees and I see like 5 birds fall down within a few seconds...pretty funny  I wanted a fully auto weapon, because over ther years I've had a few co2 pistols and a few scoped rifles (like Daisey etc) so I really wanted something different. If I didn't plan on shooting my weapons so much, I would go ahead and get gas, but those can be so expensive if you shoot it on a regular basis. Atleast with electric all I gotta worry about is BB's. My favorite part about that quote is where yo usay the only real use is to piss people off, cause this is by far too funny. One time me and my friend wanted to test how badly it would hurt to get shot, so he goes out in my backyard, puts on my dirtbike gear (Roost deflector, helmet, gloves, boots, and goggles) and tries to dodge the shots I shoot at him. Well, I was using single fire for awhile, the first 5 shots he dodged...then I switched to fully auto and sprayed about 10 shots his way, 2 hitting him in the shoulder. All I hear is "OH FUCK." It ended up leaving a small bruise from 20 feet away, pretty powerful for an electric gun and plastic bb's.

You guys keep talking about these guns yet i don't understand how they work. What exactly is it? i'm pretty interested. Some kind of electric gun ok but what does it shoot? how much does it cost? And is it legal to have one and shoot in my backyard ? :twisted:The guns are basically BB guns. They shoot plastic BB's, and you can also buy mini-paintballs to shoot them with. As far as I know, they won't shoot normal metal bb's. For AEG's (Automatic Electric Guns) or Electric pistols, they take a rechargable battery. For my m4a1, I use a quick charger to charge the battery up in 15 minutes. It lasts about 2,000-3,000 shots. For gas powered pistols, they take a special Co2 tank that lasts about the same # of shots as an electric, but can put more power and accurcay out per shot.(and they sound cooler, mostly more functions on them and more detail and metal peices, but more expensive mind you.) My AEG M4A1 cost me about 400$, while the Glock C18c's that I'm looking to buy cost around 30-40$ each. For the gas version of the Glock C18c, it cost about 130$. A bag of bb's isn't too expensive, I think its like 6$ for a bag of 2,000. As far as are they legal, thats a yes and then thats a no. They are legal if they have the tips (barrels) painted orange (1/4th of the barrel) and have all trademarks scratched out (like M4A1 on the box has to be crossed out for instance, and the symbol for Colt had to be scratched off on the side of my gun.) Almost all places do this that sell to people within the U.S. so don't worry about that. For shooting it in your backyard, I would say that if you are using all saftey precautions you should have no problem (if the neighbors call the cops on you and say your shooting an ak 47 in your back yard, the cops cant do crap if you are shooting safely at some Target or such.) Basically, they aren't loud. The gas ones make a small blast noise, but its nothing too loud. You shouldn't hear complaints from neighbors unless your running around your front yard shooting people who ride by on bikes or something. If you have an extra 50$, I suggest buying an electric pistol or such just to see how fun they are, and if you really enjoy them then go ahead and spend some big bucks on a nice SMG or Rifle, or maybe even a shotgun.
