If you don't get what Mus is saying, then you never understood batman. He's the DARK Knight. He was the first gothic comic book super hero.therefore, i lose.
I have absolutely no idea what Spyke just said. :shrug:Anyway IMO the first two Batman films were the best (especially the original) because they were dark like Mus said. I love Tim Burton films because they're mysterious and gothic, like a dark fairytale if you will. And I also think Michael Keaton was a perfect choice for it, mainly because of his eyebrows. Don't ask. Then they totally ruined it with all the comic cheesy bullshit. Batman Forever was dogchod - don't have a problem with Val Kilmer but he ain't no Batman. I thought Jim Carrey did a great job as The Riddler though, can't think of anyone more suited to the role. Batman and Robin near enough killed any faith I had left for the caped crusader. Honestly, if Arnie came out with one more cheese-filled bullcack 'cold' pun I would've flown over to California and gave that bastard a wedgie. I like George Clooney as an actor though - he kicked ass in From Dusk Til Dawn - but he isn't right for Batman either. From what I hear the new film will edge more towards the darkness of the first two but I'll remain sceptical until I've seen it. I reckon Christian Bale is a good actor (rock on with Equilibrium Juggs!) and might just save the downhill spiral that Batman has become....Spiderman could still kick his ass though.
Who's playing Ra's al Ghul in the movie? He was always one of my favorites.Ken Watanabe. As for The Jim Carrey Riddler thing, I thought he did a fairly good job, maybe a little bit physically over the top, but most of the blame for that character's suckiness falls on whatever douchebag designed the costumes. She/he totally blew it.
