thanks for posting that des. ive been hearing about that crap non stop. i guess im lucky ive had no problems.i just figured there was some corrupt stuff in the marketplace or arcade area. (where you download things you sillies)

Just the outcome of a rushed console. No worries though for anyone. They will have ti fixed in no time Im sure. Xbox scene says if you get a defected one you can take it back and get another one with no hassles.Which is why I always wait a few months before buying a new console. let all the bugs and glitches get fixed then its on!

yeh that blows, that'll happen thoi got a defective ps2 on launch day way back when, sucks assalthough, i dont know where you got 40% defective systems from, i havent heard anywhere near that amountthen i got willy (errr anubis
