n00b, nice of you not to name names and all but unless we have actual proof, i for one can't believe that.and also, there a whole lot outside of FoU who either start with us because they think they're big shots or break our set server rules. so if there's a hunt going on, 99% of the time, it is for a valid reason.a piece of advice though: don't mention kicking out members period. we're not gonna kick FoU members out of a FoU server and we don't bott anyone from the clan (sorry, don't know which context you mean by kicking). i'll keep a sharper eye out but if you're following the rules, don't worry about anyone else.

Hmmm Hmmm Hmmm... Been there got the Tee-Shirt. One problem i see perhaps is the fact that it is an " {FoU} " server. What i mean is that i always kept Drep's a non-clan orientated server. The reason being is this. 1. Clan members will always expect special treatment2. Non Clan members will perceive the attitudes of the Kings Kids and become ailienated.Now... you may actually want it to be the other way and this may have little to do with the actual problem.. but i wanted to shine a perspective into the mix.ALSO:I have almost lost all tolerance for shiat... today i kicked the entire server just to get it quiet after trying to control 16 mainiac jEDI on DR. PepperIt may be a good idea to rotate admins on a weekly basis. Then no one gets burnt out.it has also worked well for me if the Admins remain ANONYMOUS.1. Everyone realizes that an admin can be on at anytime2. Discourages admins that are ONLY looking for fame.3. bah, 120 is nothing to snuff at Drep :Pi can agree with mostly what you said but when some of these assholes come in and pick fights with FoU members, then bitch because we're fighting back. it's kinda hard not to kick em out.

thanks for the input drep.....always appreciated Since i am primarily responsible for the server....making it fou was a join decision between Snape and myself...i dont think that it was a wrong decision to make this a "fou" server. The bottom line is that it is a good server on a good connection and players will keep coming just on that basis alone. I try hard to see that players are treated fairly and that the server is a fun place to come and play, when i am present. I also think that the current mix of admins is working out rather well....all things considered----------the problem i have with rotating admins is that there are too many peeps in fou who want to use the server for their own private entertainment and use, when it is intended to serve fou and non-fou alike. In addition, i have seen many who are willing to kick any and all, just so they can chat or ff or whatever, unmolested. Yes, there are some fousters who expect special treatment, but on the whole, that line of grumbling has fallen off drastically. I have said it before, and i will say it again, noobs, and we all were just that at one time, are the bedrock of the game. if you try to eliminate the noobs....this game is transformed into one giant fucking sleeping pill!!!!!!!!!! Noobs keep the place hopping and lively, period. if the server has just "known" players, all they do is stand around in private chat and bore others to tears. ffa is old hat, ff is getting tiresome....duels drop off. but add half a dozen noobs, and everything is enlivened. First thing u know they are throwing u off the pad, while u are in mid-conversation, or lighting u to death, or sabering u. lol lol .so fuckin what if they kill u saber down, omfg, that is really the end of the damn world isnt it??????? they are so very easy to kill, so kill the hell out of them and then get back to your boring ol conversation. In addition, there is repeated grumbling about maps....yes yes bespin gets boring..but if the server is on one of these obscure maps, with three or four people only playing, then the expense of renting a server simply does not make economical sense. We are paying for sixteen slots, so what is the point if only 3 or 4 people are able to use it??Im not saying that the map shouldnt change, but lately, the maps are often on one of the obscure maps, and few players are participating.[ Also, this damn incorescant or whatever it is called, i have reloaded it twice and i get nothing but error messages when i try to join the server. So dont get all pissed off if i change the map when i try to log on.] As to the Noob's complaint.....it may very well be valid. by way of example, there is this noob player, called Ichi the Slayer...who is really quite amusing as well as consternating and annoying. He is totally filled with himself and has a nice dfa-turn-into-lunge move in duel. But he likes to talk shit, so the other nite i spent about an hour teaching him that even an ol tibby can beat the snot out of him. He screams bloody murder when u use force to pull or push, but he turns around and tries grip constantly......with lil success. But......there is something somewhat likeable about him... hope he keeps coming and grows and learns and maybe one day, becomes a fouster... who knows, stranger things have happened.oh, by the by.........my iq tested out at 152 some good many years ago...bfd..im still not rich...so what good has it done me???? and jaina, you have a very very very long way to go to be as intelligent as drep...IQ is but one small measure..i have met mensa members who are basically stupid as fenceposts!!!!!!!!
