Play out the first mission in singleplayer, after you get the hang of it go into these file directories:my document - my games - Freelancer - accts - singleplayer - original saved games or saved gamesDelete the autosave file, otherwise your game wont work online. Also, I suggest you go to microsoft.com and download their updated version of direct X 9.

Yeah, I got directX. I played the mission. I was thinking more along the lines of which server?

Also, I'm wondering a good strategy for making money. The ship they start you with sucks and so do the weapons. Perhaps Buy and sell? I dunno.
