Final Fantasy XII Playable Demo

Post by Bane »

Anyone else got this? I just downloaded it, and I have to say... Thank god its not like FFX. First impression: AwsomeSecond impression: Awsome..erJust finished mission 1/2, and the non-random-fight system is actually pretty cool. You and your team run around (after the leader, which can be changed at any time), You press the X button, and the normal combat choices come up, and if there is an enemy in range, just choose a target thats in range (or that your fighting) and it works like all the other games. I havn't had a chance to summon anything just yet, but I'm gonna give that a go in a moment. They start out by showing a pretty long series of movie clips, and from the looks of it, they've gone back to the very unrealistic (but very cool) XIII surroundings.

uhh...I thought in VIII they tried to make it very realistic, now I'm confused... IX was the unrealistic one.
