I play an assassin, and they're pretty fun actually. Only thing is that when you get a healer that doesn't know shit when it comes to healing....if you want to dish out the damage 1on1, i'd recommend it but be prepared to die a lot as well. Also, I can't think of too many widely used specs for assassin....infact, i can really only think of like 2 or 3. Pretty much, you won't be dwelling a whole lot into your secondary profession, it'll mostly be majority sin skills while maybe 1 in your secondary....

Well i was thinking that assassign/necromancer could be a good combo but im not sure. What about that other new class??
