WHY I wont get a ps3

THere arent any good games out for the ps3 RIGHT NOW that are just for the ps3. But for the xbox however we have halo 3. ps3 wont have that! anyway just for you guys to kinda decide what you want if you are considering spending lotta money on one thig or the other. O AND btw microsoft just announced that via marketplace users will be able to download tv shows, and movies. Just another little extra thing that ps3 doesnt have yet. I think microsoft is certainly puttin up some serious compitition for Sony.

However, that article is a little biased, as it's coming straight from the Xbox 360 Channel at IGN. Every console has it's own "group" of people at IGN, so you're not really getting both sides of the arguement. That article would probably be biased towards the PS3 had it been on the PS3 Channel. Plus, if your talking about games RIGHT NOW, Halo 3 won't be out until this time next year anyway (probably). By that time, the second generation of PS3 games will be hitting the shelves, hopefully with games like Metal Gear Solid 4 and (possibly) Final Fantasy XIII. Also, by that time, there will be hundreds of movies, TV shows, PSOne games, and PS2 games up for download for the PlayStation 3. Or, like me, you could just stick with the current-generation consoles until the PS3 and/or Xbox 360 drop to $200. Old school PS2 FTW. :thumbright:

Nitendo pretty much does its own thing. Sony and Microsoft are gonna compete with each other till the end but Nintendo is going to rise above both those systems and come out on top.

Ya metal gear solid 4 will be good im sure since im a fan of it. But thats not enough for me at the moment. I dont think ps3 will have downloadable games and movies by march 2007. But still the statistics show that xbox 360 is more powerful, which i thought was interesting cause i thought the ps3 was suppsed to be like 4 times better.. guess not.

Well, I was a hardcore PS3 supporter, until they were all like "seex hundred dalla!" and I was all like "omgwtf!" truth be told, X360 is $200 less, which is nice. Plus, I read in EGM's Rumor Mill section (which I esteem to be most reliable) that there is talk that Konami is going to force Kojima to make an X360 version of MGS4. So, MGS4 and GTA4 on the 360, and Halo 3 to top that? Xbox ftw. Fuck FFXIII, she's being a bitch!
