Maybe Shadow or Tib has heard of this fighting style. Its called Eskrima and its a Filipino fighting art that teachs you how to fight with weapons first then unarmed later. I am seriously looking into it for my future career in the State Police or FBI. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this type of fighting technique. Heres a youtube video of it....and it looks insane...but its very useful even at its early stages...

I wonder if ''Store security guard'' fits well in a CV that's presented to the FBI.

Eskrima emphasizes sword and stick fighting. How many times in the line of duty are you going to be using a fucking sword or a stick? Maybe your collapsable baton, but that is like a THIRD fallback. First you pull your mace, if that doesn't work, you pull your gun. If he disarms you, or your gun jams, or you run out of ammo, or if someone attacks you from close range and you have no time to pull a weapon, the best thing for you to know is hand to hand. Eskrima won't teach you dick about hand to hand fighting in a realistic situation.

looks like a style riot police would use. for police fighting you should probably go with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Very nice stuff, its the one that the army trains with too, extremely good 1 on 1 fighting techniques. not too good fighting multiple persons tho.
