well you sons of bitches, i'm throwing this out there, so don't be too cruel, i know it's pretty tame for our taste, but I tried to make something simple. I'm at a college right now...err, was, summer break woohoo, taking Film Production. It's pretty sweet, we all get to make films, shoot on actual film, not just digital. Really loving it. This is my thesis film for the year, just a short thing, we only had 2 shooting days. Anyway, criticism welcomed.

Great work man. I think you were able to express the feeling of nostalgia very well here. The production was nice, good camera work and shot design. Good use of graphics and text, not over the top; gets the job done and does it well. The acting from the old chap was very natural, same from the kid though his execution of the dialogue was slightly wooden. The sound recording was strong. The concept and use of the bunny outfit was great, it was a nice way of showing the imagination from the child and lastly from the old guy himself. And it's nice to think about too; that even when you get old and you can't do those things you once could when you were young, the imagination still goes strong.Well done, I enjoyed it a lot.

thanks for the critique!lol ya my child actor was pretty shitty. I basically found a kid willing to act and picked him. It's hard to find young little boys to act in your movie without sound extremely creepy.

Mus pretty much took the words right out of my mouth. Good work, Wask. I'm taking Film at my University as well, so I can relate to this kind of work. Interesting idea and well executed in my opinion.P.S. I got kind of creeped out at the shot where the "human" bunny and the kid were going down the slope. pokey:

Lovely little piece this was. I am not sure how much I can critique on it as I have only very basic experience when it comes to films, but it certainly did seem to give a very warm and enjoyable reflective mood to it. I hope to see more like this.

lol thanks for all the opinionsit was supposed to be fairly mellow, fuzzy/warm etc, but i knew the risk of the bunny being creepy, especially with films like donnie darko and shit but i tried for it anyway. appreciate the commentary and ill keep you posted with further work
