Fate of the Unwanted

Every time I connect to a server i get this error: ERROR: Invalid Game Folder. I've re installed and nothings changed, any ideas?

i think Lucas has finally come around to fixing the servers so no pirated copies can play online. Not sure though. I just downloaded the Razor 1911 FINAL Retail version and I can join servers just fine. Maybe they found a way to get past the patch. Look on supernova for that copy I guess.

That hapopened to me too! I just re-installed and it worked fine after.It happened to Pain in Jk2, so i doubt its that Des.

I reinstalled and still get the error. Grrr i dont want to buy this.

Is it possible that the game is detecting that everyone else in the server is using the SAME copy?

Seriously Koomji im not buying this shit either! especially when blue lunge is an instant kill!

LoL, that depends on the saber damage scale but im not buying it either.It seems, that I only get that error on certain servers. I can play on some NO problem, then when i try to play on Desu's i get that Invalid folder bullshit. So, what the fuck is the goddamn problem! It may be waht I said before, all of us having the same copy, But.. I know I have played with a few ppl who had the same copy as me.SO WHAT THE FUCK!!!

i Bought it..... well actually i went in the store picked up a copy.... took it to the counter.... rang it up as $51.49..... tiik out my Store credit for SWG... wow!!!1 it was exactly $51.49..... then i bought a cheesesteak and munched out.

This is the reason, posted in Lucas Artss forums...The leaked 'GAME' version is indeed a full retail version. But once we found that it had been leaked we made a few changes in a few scripts inside a pak file before we actually released the game. The 'GAME' release was used for a magazine review, even though it "was" the GOLD release.Thats what was posted from the devs.So, what this means is, you will need to 1. Buy it2. Download the New pirated version released yesterday from Razor 1911It is the copy they had bought and made available to the public. This is the one I downloaded and no errors at all happen. You can even connect to servers that are running the 'GAME' version. But they can not connect to you. Thus this is the reason you giys can only connect to soem servers. You can only connect to the 'GAME' servers.Also on a nother note. My birthday is Seprember 25th, so yesterday when I got home from work, my Mom had stopped over and gave my Wife my early presents. 1 of those being JKA. So, I play with the one I downloaded (Razor 1911) and the server is from the store bought game. I tried switching the 2 last ngiht and nothing changed. I can connect to the bought server and I can connect to my Razor 1911 server.So that is the gist, re download the Razor 1911 version , buy it, or dont play at all
