i just bought this game just because i was interested in seeing how they could pull this game off. Savage is a first person shooter and real time strategy game. it is one of the best games i have played to date. it's a mix of different things. think of any real time strategy game and combine with Everquest or SWG and you get this game. the game is completely online and there are no monthly fees ever!each battle has two teams. each team has a commander. the commander does what you regularly do in real time strategy games: train workers, build structures, and buy upgrades. you can't train units because the players themselves are the actual units. i don't know if the commander controls a unit or just builds, i haven't played as command yet. the players go around Everquest style and beat NPCs up for exp, gold, mana, etc. of course, if a member of the other team is nearby, kill him and take his gold. the goal is to destroy the other team's base (again, real time strategy elements).in all, a very cool game that i would recommend to anyone who likes Everquest, a fan of real time strategy and first person shooters, or looking for a fun game for $30 without those annoying online fees. if you can't understand my description, i'm still sick and a little doped up on cold medicine, lol. go to ign or gamespot if you want a better description.

its ok I downloaded it a while back, alot better in fp than playing the commander in rpg style. Graphics are what you would expect for a low budget game Decent game though Chris :)On a lighter note, I just returned from taking the trash out to the dumpster here in our aprtment complex and found Genma Onimusha and another copy of KOTOR laying on the ground.Yes Im an asshole and Im keeping them even though I already have KOTOR :)Thats Xbox BTW.

ok, in order to get back on topic (::glares at HanK::), has anyone ever heard of this game even? would anyone else be interested in trying this? i would love to play this with the clan (probably won't happen due to lack of interest) because it's online only and it's also based around how effective you are as a team.as i said before, you need more info, go to ign or gamespot or wherever you want to go.

I might give it a look see if I can't find anything else to spend my money on. From what I saw at IGN and Gamespot, it has some promise.

Some people in my PlanetSide outfit beta tested it, said it was kick ass. I suppose if I can scrounge up 30 bucks of Xmas money left over, I might give it a whirl.
