How do you see your skin?

ok so i've downloaded this skin and i think i've extracted it into my gamedata/base folder but how do i select my skin in multiplayer and see it when i play?

It has to be uploaded into the server so.... not all servers have it.

Yeah it needs to be on the server to see it. All our skins in the downloads section should be on HoP, most come with icons to make them easily selectable from the ingame player menu. Some of the earlier ones don't tho, to see them you need to whip open your console and type:/model (name of skin)For example if you download the Snape1.pk3 skin you would type:/model snape1In the console to see the skin. Hey snape when im extracting it to my base folder it asks for a password and it gets all fucked up

umm extract? you just have to put the .pk3 file into your base folder,dont extract it

unless the .pk3 file is inside of a .zip file.

In which case it shouldn't ask for a password. Unless someone came along and broke it.
