They said the story wasn't all that great in the Halo 2, saying that the game came to a cliffhanger ending that doesn't really tie up any of the loose ends. They also said that the campaign was a little short, but everything else about the game was great. I'm kinda disappointed about there being a cliffhanger ending and a not-totally-satisfying story, because one of the things I liked about the original Halo so much was the story, along with the music. 8)

What's so bad about a cliffhanger ending? It just leads into the next game, as movies do all the time. Everywhere else I've seen has rated the story as being better than the first, based on what I know I would agree. As for ratings, Electronic Gaming Monthly, which has 3 people review each game, gave it (as well as GTA San Andreas) 3 10s, just to add to all of the various scores seen out there.

They don't even know if they are gonna make a Halo 3, and even if they do, they said it would be a LONG time before it ever hit the shelves, so your possibly talking 4-5 years before a new Halo game, if there is even gonna be one.Oh, and I found this out at GameSpot, here's the link to the article if you want to see it...
