Two completely different games. One if a FPS and one is an MMORPG. Not to mention two different platforms. Why is it not a good idea. I see no effect on sales at all.People are more likely to go to a GameStop or EB Games to get a copy of Halo 2 rather than EverQuest II. Maybe I should say that EverQuest II's release is "overshadowed" by Halo 2's release. Plus, being two different genre's of games wouldn't have an effect on one being overshadowed by the other.

Halo 2 and GTA.i'm not saying Halo and GTA aren't worth the hype (Halo alone was very well worth the hype ) but there are other awesome games besides these two coming out this year.on that note, i'm not paying monthly for anything anymore and i never did get into EQ anyway.

two great picks Vauce. also pickup Crimson Skies (even if you don't like flying games, it's awesome), Guilty Gear X2 if you like fighters, and Fable if you like RPGs.if you're looking for sports games at all, get the ESPN 2K5 games this year. better than EA this year :Pi'll post more as i remember. my brain is still a bit fried from the midnight opening i had to do for Halo.
