http://www.lik-sang.com/news.php?artc=3545The loading times are scaring gamers away to the DS and games being 49.99 ea  Some images on the site as well as some good in depth reading of what they thought of it.Discuss.

Hmm, seems the people who wrote that review delved into the loading times way too much and left some other parts out.But every system has hiccups at the beginning. I think the PSP's problem is that Sony didn't produce enough. How many did they ship, 200,000? That's definetly not gonna be enough. Plus they said they won't be able to ship more 'til next week or the week before Christmas.Oh well, the PSP is gonna need some time to hit it's stride... :?

i honestly think nintendo would have been better off making a system like the PSP, one big screen and nothing too weird. of course they opted for the opposite pole and made the worlds first instant messanging PDA that oh yeah it can play some games.as for those psp loading times, yeah those are scary......i dont know what the psp launch titles are, but the DS launch titles equal the level of perhaps xbox (minus halo) or gamecube in level of shittiness. the only exception being mario, which can only be messed up if you make a mario pinball game. oh wait they did that nm.....of course after just seeing a commercial for what im about to sayi think its clear to agree that nokia should not have bothered making N gage, no one is ever going to buy that.

Indeed! I heard that the "QD" doesn't stand for anything, it just sounds "snappy" Looking at the graphics for it, and then seeing the PSP and even the DS graphics, make it look like a GBA with a phone attached.

WHY DOESNT NINTENDO JUST SPEND THEIR MONEY MAKING THE NEXT CONSOLE SYSTEM GO ONLINE INSTEAD OF SOME SMALLER VERSION OF N64 WITH 2 SCREENS!my 2 cents. :oNintendos president believes they will do better staying offline, says single player and offline co-op are the big sellers. Nintendo are doing ok, and with the recent success of the DS launch in North America and Japan it kind of shows.I'm happy that Nintendo are taking it slow, rather than concentrating on the console wars; they're dealing with what they have at the moment and trying to make the best of it (rather than creating new hardware constantly, they're making sure they use their current system to its full and having its users experience its maximum potential before moving on. Making money as they do it.). They're pretty much like SEGA was right now, the underdog whilst still creating amazing console products and games. Except they're still in the main game.
