Are you planning on making a living from this? Or are you just mastering it for the hell of it?

Just know that WS is a VERY expensive endeavour, as most crafting professions are. The grinding resources won't cost too much, but then you're going to need the WS experimentation points (+20 altogether) to become a 12pt smith. Unless you loot all those tapes yourself, you're looking to spend in the ballpark of 20-40 mil. Not only that, you're going to need to use that one food that gives you a crafting bonus, and also work in a city with a research center status. Either that, or you can invest in the FS crafting boxes. Not to mention all of the high quality resources you're going to need. Just a forewarning.

In the game of crafting, only the strong survive. And those that have 15+ hours a day to play. You'll never be able to make it, Yoda! I'd like to see you try!*cue montage music*

but once you become a respectable WS on a server then you'll be hitting the credit cap in no time....it takes a while and you really need to become popular on the galaxies' forums....
