Usually with background themes, you should consider placement of images to icons. It's no good having detail on one side if that's where icons will be placed over it. Make use of simple colour themes, use tones based around the chosen colour (in your case; blue. Use different shades of blue saturated into the character images to blend them in).And for any imagery, good composition. Right now the image seems very randomised. You would not even need to add anything if you used the pictures presented right now in a different way. I'd have to create something to demonstrate this, maybe when I can be arsed... Anyway, hope you pick up on what I'm rambling on about.

Yeah I get what you're rambling about...I guess I just never think about Icon placement...because I only have two icons on my own desktop

Fair enough. If it's for personal use, I can understand. Always do what's best for yourself. I'm getting more into the design for others thing.

Yeah, maybe the next one I make will be for others too...My Kyo one isn't too bad, most of the stuff's on the right side, leaving the left open for icons.
