As you know, I don't have a credit card to be able to use XBox Live. I do however, have a few of those two months free trial serials. Thought I'd try one out. I get most of the way through the regestry process, get my gamer tag down (FoU Musashi), then after entering the serial (and it recognised it as the free trial); it asks for my bloody credit details! Fucking bastards!Can't even have a free trial. So, the point of this thread? I wont be playing Live with you guys for a long time!

Microsoft sends you a little notification saying that your free subscription is almost up and you have to either cancel it or Microsoft will bill you for $50 (a year's subscription) automatically. Good thing I had the money and wanted to keep Xbox Live at the time because I had no clue that they would automatically renew your subscription and bill you.

they notified you?funny, i didnt get one the first time, but luckily i checked my visa bill, holy 90 bones (canadian eh)so i called em up and said suck my fuckin missileso they gave me my money back and i used another card

Can't you use your dad's or someone else's credit card and just mark down the day the trial runs out to make sure the card won't get charged? You have to come play Chaos Theory with me man
