While at first glance, I have always been a sort of MK fanboi back in the days of sega button smashing. After the first few I sort of drifted away from it, mainly because I started to get tired of the 1 on 1 combat deal ever since super mario and zelda came out for Nintendo 64. At that time I started getting into "free roaming" games so to speak, where you have more control on exactly where you want to go. Well MK:SM totally redid the combat system to where it's more like a free play deal. You still have the fancy Fatalities, Mutalities, and Brutalities that you always have had, and there are still some of the classic moves that you will be glad to see, along with some killer combos - BUT! The COOLEST thing about this game is the Co-op gameplay. I have to say, if you usually play games with a friend - GET THIS BISH! The "Ko-op" mode is so friggin cool, you can play as Kung Lao and Lui Kang through the normal game, and after you beat it, you get Scropian and Sub Zero to play with! On top of all that, you still can "1 v 1" in versus mode aginst a friend. There is nothing more fun then uppercutting an enemy, having your friend kick it up higher, grabbing it and throwing it down to you, and you pwning its face. Omg theres just...nothing better. RENT IT! GET IT! TRY IT OUT ATLEAST!!!!

Haha GW, I have a demo of this game and it's just pure fun.I'd really like to buy it because my friend and I would probably have a blast with it, but I'll probably wait until the price drops a bit. With all the new consoles coming soon, $50 for a game seems kinda weird to me... :P
