just got my first taaste of kenshin....

I found that the series was very kiddish. The OVA however, was much darker and deeper than anything the series had to offer.Word!LukeN, you MUST seek out the Samurai X OVA Box Set. It outperforms the series by so much even though it's a mere 3 DVD's.
