Anyone else think PS3 is gonna blow everyone out?

Seems to me that with this cell processor (LONG in development) is gonna do same major anal damage to the X-Box 360. Anyone have predictions for success? I predict:PS3 KO RD 2.

it depends on who hits the market first - price range of the console and games - and what games are for which.Performance wise alone Xbox 360 wil probably come up on top - selling wise - Ps3 Im sure.

Xbox is going to come out first I believe which will give it a huge lead in sales, just like what happened with the DS and PSP, but the PS3 will probably have the better hardware because of its later release.

Xbox has the earlier release date, but to be honest I heavily doubt that the PS3 is going to have hardware that will excel it from those few months. To be quite honest, I really only think that the PS3 will sell because of the legacy from the original PS that had everyone gasping at it

Im a playstation guy So PS3 is for me. But i think that PS3 is gonna be a huge hit and sell lots

Actually from what I read, the PS3 is much better than the X-Box 360 in terms of processing power. This is a complete turn around from last year, save for the fact that Sony has a good list of games set up for release, unlike the original X-Box. Seeing as how the only advantage the X-Box had on the PS2 was power, I don't see what it's selling point will be this time around. Maybe a SIGNIFICANTLY lower price?

Yea, isn't the PS3 twice as expensive as the 360? Why not use your computer?

when the ps2 hit the market first it sold alot, and by the time the xbox came out...they could just never catch up. I predict that possibly xbox will have the lead this time, and if ps3 is more expensive, keep the lead. Xbox makers have admitted that the ps3 will have more power then the xbox 360 but xbox aims to do more then just games, something the ps3 only does

It's going to be a toss-up.The X-Box is more popular with the, (I don't mean any offense), but the trendy people. It's the, "cool" thing to do, in a way. It's got some classics that people will rave about. If there are rumors that more of these types of games on the X-Box 360, it's going to do great. I'm sure the sales will do a bit worse in Japan, but in America, it should do fairly well.As for the PS3, it's going to be played by the more diehard gamers. It's going to have classics, (maybe no backwards capability, and losing some popularity). Most diehard gamers will probably stick with the PS3, and pick up the X-Box 360.It just depends on who buys more. And the games.

It will have backward compatability, and more media options than the X-Box........ Where are you people gettting this info?
